We asked permission from the Meeting to use part of the graveyard as a garden. There was an empty spot right beside the fence near the Kindergarten rooms. Several teachers planned the basic layout of the garden and began to plot out the new beds. We got help from the entire Meeting and School community, kids included! Soon all the weeds and tough grass were gone and the real digging could be started. This center area was to become a future Monarch hangout!
