Digging

Finally it was time to plant. We got donations of many annuals, one plant for every student, to plop in the ground, with help from adults.

One Saturday morning, we rented a roto-tiller and the adults got down and dirty, expanding beds around the central oval, digging in all kinds of good manure and compost, and getting things ready to plant the flowers those critters so love.
