Computer Literacy
Students are introduced to computers in kindergarten, where they begin a nine-year computer literacy program. Each year they increase their skills in using keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheet, publishing, and presentation programs such as MS Power Point and MS Movie Maker. The entire Haddonfield Friends School campus network is wireless and provides all classrooms and teachers easy access to the web. Lower School students visit the computer lab several times per week to work on projects and utilize programs appropriate to each grade level. Upon entering the Middle School, sixth grade students are each issued a brand new laptop which travels with them from class to class.
