Spanish
An introduction to the Spanish language and culture begins at the
early childhood level with songs, poems, and games, frequently tied
to seasonal or holiday subjects.
Using textbooks and workbooks,
upper-grade students begin a more formal approach to the acquisition
of Spanish. Conversations, drama, songs, and games continue, encouraging
students to use the language they are learning.
Students complete Spanish Level I by the end of eighth grade.
Spanish classes are part of the regular school curriculum Pre-K through Eighth grades.
