 PTO
events are numerous. The following list only suggests their variety:
PTO provides an annual picnic in late August to welcome back returning
students and their families as well as to help new students and
parents feel at home from the outset. PTO also provides an end-of-year
reception at the June Frolic, an outdoor "graduation"
program in which each class presents a dance.
PTO plans a Fall Festival and Spring Fling with multiple events
designed to engage all ages. Each year the PTO plans various family
events. There is a PTO pasta dinner in the winter.
PTO sponsors a book fair twice yearly and arranges for annual class
and individual student photos.
PTO mounts a weekly lunch program (pizza day) for students.
PTO publishes a directory that includes the school calendar, a
list of the year's events, a description of PTO offices, telephone
numbers of school families, a staff directory, and a section on
general school information and procedures.
